The Chamber Music Corner

The Chamber Music Corner is a one-week workshop that offers violinists and violists in grades 5-10 the opportunity to join our cellists in small ensembles such as duets, trios, and quartets under the guidance of a coach from our senior faculty. The workshop will take place August 19-24th from 3:30-5pm with a final performance on Saturday evening. Space is limited and early registration is encouraged, as we are limited in the number of groups we can accept.

We created The Chamber Music Corner to provide an opportunity for students to explore playing their instrument in a small group, and collaborating with other string players to create a unique blend and spirit. We aim to foster a fun, light-hearted social experience where friendships are created through musical expression and conversation. 

Registration for The Chamber Music Corner begins on March 15, 2019. Our faculty will assign ensemble groups prior to the workshop. We will make every effort to honor requests of friends who would like to play together. We also encourage ensembles that are already playing together to register as a group.
